I'm a graduate of Computing with AI from the University of Leeds. Or simply put - a professional Geek.
When I'm not building web sites (An area I'm hoping to get a job in) I generally enjoy reading (generally crime/thriller), Sci-Fi and finding out what's going on in the world of science and technology. (See what I said about being a geek!)
I'm pretty good when it comes to PHP, ASP.NET (C#) and SQL. I'm not a designer but I can work with and manipulate HTML/CSS (as when I had to add a lightbox to my brothers website and in the process fix all the things that Dreamweaver did wrong!)
Why Build This?
There are a few reasons for building this site. Firstly, I was tired of the PHP Nuke site I was running previously being hacked. Secondly, Nuke was overkill for what I needed.
